I graduated with masters in Cybersecurity and started working with HP Inc as a Software Security Engineer. I am based out of Houston, Texas.
I had interned with HP for the summer and continued through the school year and ultimately graduated early to start working full time.
Why Maryland?
UMD has one of the best cybersecurity programs in the US.
The courses have a very good blend of theoretical and practical concepts. The professors are extremely dedicated and helpful. The university has a very bright and diverse culture.
The curriculum is the core reason as to why I choose this university and it is the curriculum which helped me land up with a good company.
