The application process is easier than ever! If you have earned your degree through Maryland Engineering or will soon, MAGE only requires one letter of recommendation for Master of Engineering applicants. We will also waive your Master of Engineering application fee.
Offer is limited to one application fee waiver code per applicant. If you wish to apply to more than one program, you will need to pay the fee for each additional application.
Please follow these steps:
- Start filling out an application for any M.Eng. or GCEN program, following the instructions on the application process page.
- When you arrive at the letter of recommendation page, please email mage@umd.edu to request that 1 of your letters of recommendation be waived. Please include your name, UID and the 4 letter program code (list of advanced engineering program codes can be found here).
- Request an application fee waiver via the process outlined here.
- A MAGE staff member will confirm that you are a Clark School graduate or alumnus and manually waive the letter. They will respond within 3 business days to provide an update and a fee waiver code.
- Submit your application prior to the application deadline.
