You actually get to dirty your hands and work on real-life problems

M.Eng in Software Engineering
I completed my Bachelor's of Technology in Computer-Science from India followed by 2+ years of professional experience working with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise as an Application Development & Support Engineer. While working I realized there is still a lot to learn & explore, and that is when I decided to pursue my Master's here in the US.
Why Maryland?
Two years at UMD has been by far the most impactful part of my professional life. The Masters's program made me more enthusiastic about studying Software Engineering. Everybody, both teachers & staff, here at UMD is so helpful and was always ready to help you through everything. You learn from the very best people in the industry. Also, the course structure here at UMD is so versatile and flexible that you can choose a degree of your own preferences & interests. And, the best part is that all the courses have a focus on working and learning through project works where you actually get to dirty your hands and work on real-life problems. I am glad I made this decision to pursue my Masters from UMD.
