I earned my B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland (UMD), College Park. I [have completed] my Master's Degree in Systems Engineering with a graduate certificate in Project Management, also at UMD - while working as full-time systems engineer in the Aerospace and Defense Industry in Washington, DC area. As of today I have over five years of experience in systems engineering and project management, having led and provided support to a number of projects including new developments and total lifecycle management of defense acquisition programs. Prior to the current position, I was a technical analyst for the Department of Energy and mechanical engineering intern for the US Patent and Trademark Office.
