[W]e liked the curriculum at the University of Maryland the most.

Aerospace Engineer at Army Research Laboratory
M.Eng in Reliability Engineering
I grew up in Austin Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate studies. While I was an undergraduate, I completed an internship as a student researcher for the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). After graduating, I returned to ARL at APG as a full time contractor (journeyman fellow) researching bending body technology as a novel mechanism for aerodynamic control of supersonic projectiles. After a year, I accepted an offer to continue working as an aerodynamicist researcher in the same capacity but now as a federal employee instead of a contractor. I have been continuing my research in exterior ballistics since.
Why Maryland?
My coworkers and supervisors were looking at different curricula at different Universities and we liked the curriculum at the University of Maryland the most.
