Full-Time Student
MEng. in Cybersecurity
I was working as a full-time employee as a Cybersecurity Advisor at Deloitte in India and learned industrial experience from those 2 years out there. Looking ahead at my career I realized it would be great if I could take a break for a couple of years and pursue an academic approach in this field by joining a university which offers cybersecurity as a major course and achieve a formal degree.
Why Maryland?
The best part about the cybersecurity graduate degree program offered by the University of Maryland was that it offered courses which were needed for our fundamental growth along with that helping us to grow in our career. Besides that, the professors are professionals in their area of expertise. They work and they teach which not only gives us a fresh hand of knowledge but also provides us an updated perspective.
The courses are recorded which adds to the flexibility of learning at own pace and approach professors with specific doubt without wasting much of time.
