Hernan Guadalupe
Engineer I at City of Baltimore Department of Public Works
Pursuing MEng. in Project Management Engineering
My name is Hernan Guadalupe. I am a second semester graduate student pursuing a Masters in Project Management. I am currently an engineer with the City of Baltimore Department of Public Works, Office of Engineering and Construction, specializing in project controls. I have over 13 years of engineering and construction experience. I have had the pleasure of working with several large companies in NY, NJ, and VA who specialize in various areas including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education. During my career, I have worn several hats as a project engineer, cost engineer, estimator, scheduler, and project manager. I am always looking to improve myself and increase my level of industry knowledge and I believe UMD is the best place to obtain it. I look forward to continuing my graduate studies which have given me a greater sense of confidence, knowledge of real-world application, and leadership abilities in project management.
