Dr. Emre Gunduzhan earned B.S. and M.S. degrees from Bilkent University, Turkey, and a Ph.D degree from University of Maryland, College Park, all in Electrical Engineering. He worked at the Advanced Technology division of Nortel Networks for 10 years as a Scientific Staff. He joined the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in 2009, where he is currently a Project Manager and the Chief Engineer of Communication and Networking Systems Group.
His research interests include satellite and terrestrial wireless communications, software-defined networks, and emergency communications systems.
