I have been in the telecom industry for approx. 9years, having seen technology advancing from CDMA to 4G/LTE network and with varied work experience in wireless as well as wireline domain of the telecom sector; I decided to switch to security domain.

I chose University of Maryland because the program is structured and crafted well, the classes are at a convenient time and flexible. Faculty are working professionals from the Security domain itself hence their experience and knowledge makes the course more interesting. There is a lot of project-based learning opportunities created during the course that simulate the industry environment. Also with the help of their corporate connections guest speakers for relevant experience or topics come and guide us through.
