M.Eng. in Software Engineering

I'm Nivedita Israni, currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering at the University of Maryland. I am a seasoned software engineer, having worked with prestigious companies like Boston Consulting Group and Tavant. My journey has provided me with diverse opportunities to lead teams, develop innovative applications, and enhance my technical skills. At UMD, I have continued to grow and the curriculum has helped me hone my skills further and further added to my knowledge.

Why Maryland?

I chose Maryland for my graduate degree because the university's state-of-the-art facilities, esteemed faculty, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, like those at the S2TS lab with professors such as Dr. Michael Ohadi and Dr. Soheil Faizi, were major factors in my decision. Additionally, Maryland's vibrant academic community and its location near major tech hubs provide ample opportunities for networking and professional growth.
