I am an Electronics and Communication Engineering major from India. I was the captain of the Girls' Kabaddi Team at my University and the winner of a National Level Kabaddi Tournament. And yes, I am ambidextrous. Currently, I am a Graduate student at the University of Maryland pursuing Electrical and Computer engineering. I like working with sensors and circuits and I believe in making the best of everything.

Why Maryland?

There were quite reasons to choose Maryland. To start with, there is no dearth of opportunities in Maryland because of its proximity to the National Capital. The capital offers the best of companies and research laboratories to work with. Secondly, the labs are amazing here. If you saw them, there's no doubt you'd want to work in them. Thirdly, the campus is breathtaking. I bet you cannot cover the whole of it in a single day. There is so much to do on campus. This campus never sleeps. If I am studying for straight 6 hours in the library, I always could get refreshed by heading out or by taking a quick nap in the sleeping pods at the library.
