Graduate1.5 Year LoopThermal Systems Design AnalysisThe course focuses on numerical techniques used to analyze, simulate and optimize thermal systems. Students will use Engineering Equation Solver (EES) as a primary analytical tool for thermal system simulation and evaluation. EES is a commercial software package used for solving systems of simultaneous non-linear equations. It provides many useful specialized functions and equations for the solution of thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow problems. Students are not expected to be proficient in EES. The software offers the advantages of a simple set of intuitive commands that students can quickly learn to solve algebraic problems. However, the capabilities of this software are extensive and useful to an expert as well. Information for learning how to use EES can be found at https://fchartsoftware.com/ees/youtube.phpEnergy Systems EngineeringEnvironmentalMechanical
