
Dr. Zachary Dunbar is a civilian scientist at the Army Research Laboratory located in Adelphi, Maryland. He received his Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and his Masters and PhD Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Dunbar's primary research interests are in the areas of fuel cells and fuel reformation; particularly the purification of reformate gases using thin palladium membranes to produce ultra-high purity hydrogen. In addition, he has interests in mobile power generation, desulfurization technologies, micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), and electrochemistry.
